counseler in training
hello
i am currently a student at O.C.U and my main goal is to become a chemical dependency counselor, my family, friends almost everyone i know has an addiction to something and i want to be the one who can make a difference in the eyes of people i love. i want to be the person to have a lasting effect on the person i counsel or anyone at that matter.and in my journey through school and life i want to become closer to god. and become a prime example of a good follower. we have all had our down falls but its not about what you use to do its what you do with the time your given now. i want to be able to understand why people get addicted to things even myself so i think this learning experience will help me learn a lot about myself and others.
Thank you for reading,
Victoria
"Any person who has ever lived through addiction can tell you first hand that addiction is a serious disease that requires intensive treatment. However, there are a host of "alternative" treatment centers cropping up all across the country that postulate that this is not the case".
